Our LMHC-QS team supervises Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns (RMHCI). We focus on developing strong clinical documentation, ethical case formulation, and competencies across individual, group, and family counseling.

At My Qualified Supervisor, our LMHC-QS team consists of licensed mental health professionals who are approved by the Florida Board to supervise RMHCI applicants. We specialize in helping interns build the clinical skills, confidence, and ethical foundation necessary for licensure and lifelong success as professional counselors.

🗂️ Supervision & Licensure

Your supervision officially begins on the date listed in the Florida Board’s letter approving your Qualified Supervisor.
Yes. Supervision is required weekly regardless of current caseload. Sessions focus on ethics, clinical prep, documentation, licensure steps, and professional development.

To qualify for full licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT), you must complete:

  • 100 weeks of supervision
  • 100 supervision hours
  • 1,500 hours of direct client services
  • Pass the national exam
  • Meet all academic/practicum requirements
Supervision must continue until your full license is officially issued by the Florida Board. Once you receive confirmation of your license, supervision can end.
Yes, but the Board must be notified, and your logs and verification forms must be submitted by your current supervisor before switching.

🧾 Payments & Agreements

Supervision is billed weekly at a flat rate (typically $70/week). Group rates may be available in the future.

Yes. All supervisees must sign an agreement via Adobe Sign before beginning. It outlines expectations, payment terms, cancellation policy, and Board requirements.

🧑‍🏫 Practicum Completion

If you’re required to complete a practicum post-degree, you may enroll in our 18-week Comprehensive Practicum Program (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT track)
Yes — once you’re accepted into our practicum or supervision program, we will send a formal letter of supervision directly to the Florida Board and copy you.
